Nordhavn fishing contest now under way

Publish date:

Pacific Asian Enterprises recently launched the Mad Fish Hunt, inviting Nordhavn owners, crew and guests to cast their lines in the name of reeling in "a reallybig fish."

Starting now, participants have two months to hook their prize fish. Catches must be documented in a photo and are required to be landed from a Nordhavn or Nordhavn-based tender.

"The beauty of this competition is that everyone has a fair shot - no matter how old you are, no matter what type of Nordhavn you're on, no matter where you are in the world, and no matter what schedule you're on," PAE vice president Jim Leishman said in a statement.

"We've seen some impressive catches off of Nordhavns - watching others and even from our own personal experience," he added. "This has the potential to be terrific contest."

The contest ends Feb. 1. Entries will be judged by a select panel of Nordhavn fishing experts, but the public will play a key role in helping to determine winners.
