Otam has appointed Oceanstyle by Burgess as its central agency for the brokerage and promotion of the Otam 100 Millennium yacht.
Available for delivery in 2015, the Otam Millennium is designed by naval architect Umberto Tagliavini, exterior designer Alberto Mancini and interior designer Achille Salvagni, who also was the interior designer of the 70-meter Numptia.
"The hull is designed for high speed even in rough seas whilst ensuring those on board experience the ultimate comfort,” Tagliavini said in a statement. “We drew a monohedric hull with very sharp bow corners and a choice of engines, either two or three 2,600-hp MTUs, [which] will generate speeds of 40 and 47 knots, respectively. The structure is made of aluminum alloy for considerable savings and proper structural rigidity. A capability of over 45 knots with outstanding comfort is the unique added value of the new Otam 100-foot Millennium.”
"The air intakes of the engines that have a very important function in this type of yacht are well integrated in the streamlined design of the yacht, with an aggressive and elegant result,” Mancini said.
