Pursuit Boats announced today plans to introduce an inshore series of boats.

"Pursuit's inshore series was born through a desire to introduce affordable quality to the marketplace in a small-boat package," the company said in a statement.

"Our goal is to take advantage of our production processes to build a product with the durability, dependability and quality synonymous with the Pursuit brand," company president Tom Slikkers said in a statement.

Complete specifications and pricing will be available through dealers nationwide after a formal announcement scheduled for Feb. 17 at the Miami International Boat Show.

Pursuit Boats is a division of Holland, Mich.-based S2 Yachts Inc.
