Sportfishing boat builder Regulator Marine said it expanded its customer service team by promoting Ramsey Skinner to customer service representative.

The company said Skinner spent seven years as a first mate on several Regulator boats before joining the company in 2014 as a member of the console and T-top assembly team on the factory floor. He gained valuable knowledge on all details relating to the build process and quality, which he regularly applies to his new position.

“Working on the floor, I got hands-on experience and saw the quality behind each boat,” he said in a statement. “Now I get to be up front and share that knowledge with customers. We take great pride in what we do at Regulator, and it’s exciting to see it all come full circle.”

The company said Skinner’s new role goes beyond communicating with customers and includes boat shipping prep, ordering parts for dealers and customers and registering new boats.
