Sea Ray named American Boat Center as its dealer in Knoxville, Tenn.

“This relationship represents both companies’ ongoing commitment to providing exceptional customer service and an unparalleled boating experience,” Sea Ray senior vice president of sales Dave O’Connell said in a statement.

Sea Ray said American Boat Center, founded in 1987 by Steve and Susan Moore, houses one of the largest indoor showrooms in the Southeast. The dealership is in west Knoxville near Sea Ray’s headquarters in downtown Knoxville and the company’s Tellico Lake facility, where Sea Ray sportboats are built.

American Boat Center also features The Wake Shop, a pro shop that carries wakeboards, skis and other equipment and apparel.

“As we prepare for another successful year in 2014 we are excited to welcome American Boat Center to the Sea Ray family,” Sea Ray Boat Group president Tim Schiek said.
