Sea Ray recently joined SureShade's list of manufacturers offering SureShade factory-install options.

The boatbuilder introduced its 2013 model lineup and the 510 Sundancer features Sea Ray’s first factory-installed automated sunshade system, according to SureShade.

The 510DA, with an automated shade, made its private debut Sept. 13-14 at the Sea Ray Homecoming 2012 event before more than 500 Sea Ray boat owners, dealers and guests at the boatbuilder’s headquarters in Knoxville, Tenn.

“We are excited to welcome Sea Ray to our growing portfolio of boat brands offering our retractable shade systems as a factory-installed option," Sureshade co-founder Dana Russikoff said in a statement. “Boat buyers are demanding better options for shade that improve their comfort and overall boating experience, and our automated system is the perfect complement to the innovative styling and quality features found on the all-new 510 Sundancer.”

Sea Ray is working to expand the SureShade factory-install shade option to other models in the boatbuilder’s line.
