The social media firm Engaged is now an official provider in the Brunswick Dealer Advantage program.
Engaged CEO Josh Chiles, told Soundings Trade Only about the new partnership this week at the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference in Louisville, Ky.
Brunswick’s Dealer Advantage Program is available to marine dealers carrying any of the Brunswick lines.
“Once they’re in, they have access to companies that have been thoroughly vetted by Brunswick,” Chiles told Trade Only at the show. “They are trusted providers the dealers have access to and discounts for a select few companies.”
Chiles said the vetting process was intense and took several months. “This is a really big deal for us,” he said.
Chiles speaks often on the topic of social media to the marine industry, giving a seminar at IBEX titled “Engaging your dealer network with social media” on Tuesday to a crowded room.
He also spearheaded the new Social Media Lounge, a section of the show that offered social media help on the spot to businesses looking for ways to maximize their online presence. The lounge saw a steady stream of traffic throughout the show, Chiles said.
