SureShade gains patents in Europe and China

SureShade, the privately held designer and manufacturer of retractable marine sunshade systems launched at the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference in 2007, announced the approval of technology patents on its automated tele-frame boat shade system in the boatbuilding markets of Europe and China, including Hong Kong.

The expanded patent coverage adds to patents previously secured in the United States and enables SureShade to proceed as the only marine supplier able to offer a telescoping sunshade system to boatbuilding operations in Europe and China.

“With patent protection in Europe and China, SureShade is now poised to capture a significant share of the future global growth in the European and Asia Pacific boating markets,” Dana Russikoff, business leader and co-founder of SureShade, said in a statement.
