Taco Marine is teaming with the do-it-yourself boat show “Ship Shape TV” to update a 1989 Pursuit 2650 to 2016 standards.

The Taco Marine Project Boat blog will discuss new technologies and how to use the latest marine products provided by marine industry partners and demonstrate how to remove older parts and update them with new ones.

Taco Marine has set up a separate Taco Marine Project Boat blogging site for those who would like to watch the transformation of the 1989 Pursuit. The site also provides information for the do-it-yourselfer.

In addition to video clips from “Ship Shape TV,” the blog will include product installation insight and how-to tips. Every week there will be another posting on the boat’s progress and viewers will learn how to take something apart and put it back together better than before.

The blog site for the Taco Marine Project Boat is http://tacomarineprojectboat.com

The boat will be displayed at several Florida shows, starting in October, after “Ship Shape TV” has finished the update. Proceeds from the sale of the boat will be donated to charity.
