Teleflex Marine announced that SGL Sales and Marketing will be taking over the territory currently handled by Dennis Wills of Midwestern Sales.
SGL now handles the adjoining markets in the Midwest for Teleflex.
The reason behind the change is the retirement of Wills, who owned Midwestern Sales and was named Teleflex Marine’s Midwest sales rep in 1985. For more than 25 years, Wills worked to build Teleflex’s sales in his territory.
“Dennis is leaving us with a legacy of success that we will continue to build on,” Tom Douglass, vice president of sales and marketing for Teleflex, said in a statement. “We’re looking forward to growing our already solid relationship with SGL Sales and Marketing.”
Customers will be contacted by their new reps from SGL during the next several weeks, Teleflex said.
