Telematics company partners with Sea Pro

Boat Fix said it partnered with Sea Pro Boats, the South Carolina-based center console builder. The two companies are offering a product called Sea Pro Connect Powered by Boat Fix. Under the agreement, Sea Pro will include as standard on every 2020 boat a Boat Fix tracking device, installation and 12 months of 24/7 customer service.

“This is an absolute game changer,” Jimmy Hancock, president of Sea Pro Boats, said in a statement. “We’ve always believed our customers deserve the best, and we know that our partnership with Boat Fix will deliver just that, providing the ultimate in peace of mind and overall boating experience.”

The statement noted that the Boat Fix system provides 24/7/365 remote monitoring of boat functions, such as battery, bilge pump, shore power and engine hours. If a problem occurs, an alert is sent to a Boat Fix advisor, as well as the Boat Fix phone app, where boat owners can see what is happening. Boat Fix also provides free, unlimited 24/7 telephone support for technical and mechanical problems. Boat Fix said its mechanics are on call to help with engine problems over the phone.
