Tigé launches test-drive challenge

Tigé Boats announced a new promotion the company calls the Tigé $1,000 Test Drive Challenge.

Throughout May, the Abilene, Texas-based boatbuilder invites customers to test-drive boats from competitors and then test-drive a Tigé. The company will give $1,000 to customers who buy a competitor's model.

"We feel extremely confident about our advantage because Tigé sells itself on the water," Tigé president Rick Correll said. "One spin around the lake and our customers immediately feel the Tigé difference and just can't go back to status quo after such an experience."

Tigé touts its patented Convex V hull and TAPS2 technology and TigéTouch touch screen.
