Trailer manufacturers group has new president

Gary Potter, corporate vice president and general manager of EZ Loader Custom Trailers, was recently named president of the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers.

"I am very proud to have earned the confidence of this organization and will do my best to provide everything I can to continue building on the leadership and direction from previous presidents to keep this organization in the forefront during my time in office," he said in a statement.

Potter served as treasurer/secretary of the association and as a board member. He is also the former chairman of the Boat Trailer Manufacturers Association and was a member of the board of the National Marine Manufacturers Association and the board of Accessory Manufacturers.

He has been at EZ Loader for more than 15 years as a senior manager. The company recently received the EC Type Approval certification and is allowed to sell its products in European countries under one certification.
