SARASOTA, Fla. — About 40 domestic and international Pursuit Boats dealers are gathering here today at the Hyatt Regency to get their first look at two new boats from the Fort Pierce, Fla., builder — along with several other models ranging from 26 to 38 feet — and learn about what’s on tap in 2016.

“We’re very excited as a company,” said Tom Slikkers, president and CEO of S2 Yachts, which owns Pursuit Boats and Tiara Yachts. “At both Tiara and Pursuit we’ve been working on a lot of new product.”

“We’re cranking, meeting the needs of the customer on all levels,” S2 Yachts marketing manager David Glenn added.

Pursuit introduced two new models — the OS 355 Offshore and the C 238 Center Console — to dealers here, giving them the opportunity to run the boats in Sarasota Bay. These boats will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. S2 Yachts also will debut its third coupe — the 39 Coupe — at the Fort Lauderdale show, Slikkers said.

Boats in the water at the Hyatt, in addition to the C 238 and OS 355, include the C 260, S 280, ST 310, OS 385, OS 325, DC 265 and the SC 365i.

Dealers also will get a sneak peak at the new Pursuit S 408 — a 40-foot center console with triple 350 outboards. It will be the largest Pursuit ever and debut at the Miami International Boat Show. Previously, the biggest center console from Pursuit was a 34-footer.

The second-largest center console currently is the S 280. The dual console fleet from Pursuit will continue to grow, as well, with the DC 295 Dual Console, which also will be unveiled in Miami.

"Introducing new product is vital — and it must deliver purpose and be innovative," said Slikkers.
