Wing Inflatables recently received a certificate of recognition from the city of Arcata, Calif., for bringing jobs to the community.

“The City Council of the city of Arcata hereby recognizes Wing Inflatables for their dedication to providing highly skilled, living-wage manufacturing jobs in Arcata,” the certificate states.

Wing Inflatables produces inflatable boats, RIBs, closed-cell foam collars and an array of products for specialty applications. Wing is the largest supplier of inflatable tubes for RIBs in service with the Navy, the company said.

“The city of Arcata has played a crucial role in our expansion and our success. We are honored to receive this recognition and we thank the council and the people of Arcata,” Wing Inflatables president Bill Wing said in a statement.
