World Cat said in a statement it has added Saltwater Marine in Wilmington, N.C., as a new dealer. The Tarboro, N.C.-based builder manufactures power catamarans from 23 to 32 feet, as well as several Glacier Bay models.

“Joel Romig started Saltwater Marine with the goal of establishing a service-oriented, family atmosphere where customers receive the utmost care,” said Wyatt Lane, World Cat director of sales & marketing, in the statement. “Twenty years later, Joel has succeeded in growing his business in the Wilmington market and earned a loyal following of customers that take great pride in being part of the Saltwater Marine family.”

Romig said he looked forward to representing the World Cat brand. “They are the strongest manufacturer in the growing catamaran segment, with model offerings and quality ideal for our customer base,” he said.
