World Cat names new dealer in Puerto Rico


World Cat recently added Puerto Rico-based Wally Castro Marine to its dealer roster. “We are extremely excited about our partnership with Wally Castro Marine, and the ability to grow our brand further internationally,” said World Cat CEO Andrew Brown in a statement. “The catamaran market is not only growing here in the States, but it’s also growing exponentially in the international market. The dealership takes great pride in their sales and customer service initiatives for its customers, and we’re proud to be the chosen catamaran brand they now represent.” World Cat manufactures outboard-powered center and dual console catamaran models ranging from 23 to 40 feet, including several Glacier Bay Edition models.

Clarks Landing Boat & Yacht partners with Cutwater Boats


Clarks Landing Boat & Yacht Sales have taken on the Cutwater Boats line. The dealership recently agreed to become the new Mid-Atlantic dealer representing Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York for Cutwater Boats. “Expanding our offerings here at Clarks Landing Boat & Yacht Sales to include the Cutwater line fits perfectly into what our customers have recently been looking for. We already sell a huge range of new and used boats at all our Marina locations so, it’s an exciting addition,” said Michael Longhi, vice president of Clarks Landing Boat & Yacht Sales in a statement. “With New Jersey and Maryland’s extensive shoreline and frequently changing weather patterns, sport cruisers are very popular with our customers. Cutwater boats are renowned for their fuel efficiency, exceptional design and they deliver the performance, comfort and style that we believe our customers will appreciate.” Cutwater makes boats from 24 to 30 feet LOA.

Seattle Yachts partners with Nimbus Boats

Seattle Yachts, a boat dealer and yacht brokerage firm with offices in the Pacific Northwest, Southern California, and South Florida, has reached an agreement with Nimbus Boats to become its exclusive dealer in Southern California. Seattle Yachts recently acquired Cabrillo Yacht Sales in San Diego, one of the top brokerage firms in the area. “The new Nimbus WTC series is a really exciting model, perfect for the waters around Southern California,” said Peter Whiting, managing partner of Seattle Yachts in a statement. “The Nimbus W9 recently won the Powerboat of the Year Award and we think the boaters in and around San Diego will be blown away once they step foot on this boat.” Nimbus builds 11 models from 30 to 43-feet.

Italia Yachts names David Walters Yachts as North American distributor

Italia Yachts said that David Walters Yachts will represent its brand in North America. David Walters Yachts has offices in Fort Lauderdale and Naples, Fla., Annapolis, Md., Santa Barbara and Newport, Calif. Italia Yachts USA has its headquarters is in Milford, Conn. “The agreement with David Walter Yachts confirms the strength of the shipyard’s strategy to expand its presence in the USA, on top of the European, Australian and Hong Kong markets,” said Daniele De Tullio, Italia Yachts’ marketing manager for North America, in a statement. “The partnership with DWY, leader in the US sailboats sector, will enable us to reach our target of visibility in the key US sailing venues.”

William F. Miller & Associates to represent Lucas Oil

William F. Miller & Associates announced it will represent Lucas Oil. The company said in a statement that it would be responsible for representing the entire Lucas marine product line to OEMs and distributors in the greater South and Midwest US territories. “Our agency is excited to be partnered with Lucas Oil, manufacturers of the best lubricants and additives available in the marine market,” said Hill Lenderman, president of William F. Miller & Associates in the statement. “This new partnership fills a void in our product line with a premium category dominator.”
