Seakeeper and SeaHunter Boats announced an agreement that SeaHunter will make the Seakeeper 2 gyroscopic stabilizer standard equipment on its 31- and 33-foot boats. The Seakeeper 2 is the company’s smallest model.

In a statement, SeaHunter said it also standardize Seakeeper stabilizers on its 35-, 39- and 45-foot boats.

“Seakeeper is becoming a standard in the industry, and we’re committed to making boat roll a thing of the past,” said Andrew Semprevivo, Seakeeper president and CEO, in the statement. “We’re very happy to partner with SeaHunter, who has proven time and again that not only do they make a rugged offshore boat, but that like us, they’re focused on the customer first and foremost.”

SeaHunter vice president Charlie Schiffer said the standardization of Seakeeper is effective immediately. “To have the best-performing boats, we have to have the latest innovations and best partners,” Schiffer said. “It was an easy decision to make Seakeeper a standard feature. Our owners deserve the best.”
