ACR adds to leadership team

ACR Electronics Inc., has promoted James Hewitt to general manager of its Ocean Signal and UML brands. He is the previous director of sales for ACR and Ocean Signal products in the EMEA and APAC regions.

In his new role, Hewitt will report directly to ACR electronics president John Nguyen and will spearhead ACR’s Electronics European Land and Marine Leadership team.

“James is a strong leader with an excellent track record of delivering results and building teams” Nguyen said in a statement. “He has been managing the sales and marketing efforts for Ocean Signal since 2011 and was promoted to director of sales for ACR and Ocean Signal in May 2018 to assist the global integration of our business. He has earned great respect from his customers as well as his extended ACR and Ocean Signal team and I am looking forward to working with him in his newly expanded role.”

Neil Doorley joins the ACR team as director of operations, Ocean Signal and UML. His responsibilities include operational management of Ocean Signal’s headquarters in Margate, UK and at UML’s current contract manufacturer in Košice, Slovakia. He will also manage the quality management system at UML and develop and implement a QMS at Ocean Signal.
