Swedish manufacturer Albin Pump Marine said it has established a North American office and warehouse in Miami and named Brad Burton general manager of the new venture.

Albin said its new North American presence is a response to growing demand for a complete and competitively priced portfolio of marine pumping, heating and sanitation solutions.

The company said Burton has more than 30 years of sales management experience. He had been Thetford Marine's OEM sales manager. Before that, he had similar roles at Aqua Signal, Faria Marine Instruments and Guest Corp.

"We're experiencing dynamic growth in North America and are eager to have Brad at the helm of the U.S. office," company director Olle Jonsson said in a statement. "He's a respected industry insider that thoroughly understands our product line and has deep connections with OEMs across the country."

Albin said it will debut at the Miami International Boat Show, Feb. 15–19 at booth F719.
