BRP completed the acquisition of 80 percent of outstanding shares of Telwater, an Australian builder of aluminum boats and trailers.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Telwater employees in the BRP family,” José Boisjoli, BRP president and CEO, said in a statement. “This first acquisition for the Marine Group outside the United States is another milestone in our plan to become a global leader in this industry.”

Telwater builds the Quintrex, Stacer and Savage boat brands.
