Cobra Electronics Corp. announced it is partnering with Ohio-based SGL Sales and Marketing, a Great Lakes and upper Midwest-focused independent manufacturer’s representative for the marine, trailer, powersports and sporting goods markets, to handle OEM marketing.

Cobra said the relationship will help solidify and expand the company’s presence within the marine and boating community by leveraging SGL’s relationships with many of the boating industry’s brands.

“Cobra is widely recognized as a leading vendor of high-quality marine electronics and two-way communications products to the marine industry and their entire lineup of radio products are considered among the best in the country,” SGL Sales and Marketing partner Marty Scott said in a statement. “We are delighted to partner with the team at Cobra as we aggressively ramp up our efforts in preparation for the boating season here in the upper Midwest.”
