Composites conference coming to Seattle

Composites One, Magnum Venus Plastech and other Closed Mold Alliance partners will be featured at an upcoming conference on cold mold processes.

The conference, titled "Dynamics of Composites Manufacturing: Tutorial through Live Demonstrations," will be held June 2-3 in Seattle. It is being offered by the American Composites Manufacturers Association.

The event will focus on vacuum infusion, closed-cavity bag molding, and light resin transfer molding technologies, and will cover the latest production developments, process techniques and regulatory updates. There also will be special sessions on lean manufacturing presented by Closed Mold Alliance partner FormaShape, a division of Whitewater Composites, and advanced kit cutting presented by Kit Concepts.
