Composites One receives safety award

Composites One recently received a platinum award from Great West Casualty Co. as part of a 2010 national safety awards program. This is the ninth consecutive year that Composites One has been an award recipient.

“Composites One is committed to a culture that promotes accident prevention, allowing for the safe delivery of its materials year after year,” Bill Rudersdorf, the company’s director of health, safety and environment, said in a statement. “Maintaining safe operations in all aspects of our day-to-day operations is a core value at Composites One and is part of the companywide value statement that guides our business.”

Arlington, Ill.-based Composites One is a leading distributor of composite materials. It serves customers from more than 30 locations in North America.
