Cox Powertrain won the Industrial Design Association award for its CXO300 diesel outboard. The award was promoted by the Italian Nautical Industry Association and the Industrial Design Association.

“We are really proud of this award,” Corrado Gaia, head of Cartello, Cox Powertrain’s Italian and Monaco distributor, said in a statement. “The award is proof that we work alongside highly innovative companies and deliver superior quality products to the Italian and European market.”

The CXO300 will officially be introduced at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which runs Oct. 31 to Nov. 4. It will be sold by more than 40 distributors and 400 dealers in 60 countries.
