The Dometic Group created a new marine division as part of a reorganization designed to strengthen its global position as a supplier of OEM and aftermarket products and services.

From its headquarters in Pompano Beach, Fla., Dometic Marine will oversee sales, marketing and new product planning of its entire range of marine products. This includes marine air-conditioning systems, sanitation systems, refrigerators and stoves.

The division will be headed by Frank Marciano, formerly president of Dometic Environmental Corp. and a 20-year veteran of the marine business. Marciano’s management team includes Ed McKiernan, Ned Trigg, Robert Sagulin, Charlie Barefoot, James Kerrigan, Ken Taranto, Doug Curtis and Roberto Bonomi.

Dometic has also formed a new global technology division, Leisure Tech, to focus internally on innovation, quality and productivity. This group will bring together Dometic’s global engineering, manufacturing and logistics expertise to provide better products and services for its customers.

In addition, Dometic appointed 12 regional managers responsible for all business activities within 12 regional territories — Africa, America, Asia/Australia, the economic union of Benelux, Eastern Europe, France, Germany, Italy, Middle East, the Nordic countries, Spain and the United Kingdom.

The reorganization is set to be finalized in March.
