Events will bookend SNAME annual meeting

Two off-site networking and fundraising events — a golf tournament and a regatta — are scheduled in tandem with the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers Annual Meeting & Expo, which runs Nov. 6-8 in Bellevue, Wash.

The golf tournament will be held Nov. 5 at the Glendale Country Club. Registration covers all costs, including greens fee, cart and lunch. The day will culminate with an awards ceremony and an evening of camaraderie.

The SNAME Cup Sailing Regatta will be held Nov. 9 following the Meeting & Expo.

The regatta will be held on Lake Washington, where participants will sail out of Meydenbauer Bay Yacht Club. Sailors will race 26-foot Thunderbirds.

The event will culminate with a dinner highlighting the local cuisine at the yacht club.
