Evinrude was recently awarded a Silver Effie Award for its 2008 "Spend More Time on the Water" advertising campaign.
The Effie recognizes creative ideas and communications tools that contribute to a brand's success. Evinrude won in the leisure products category.
"This is quite an achievement in a highly competitive category of brands," said Roch Lambert, vice president/general manager of the Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo and Evinrude division. "It is a testament to the strong strategic thinking and research by the marketing team that goes into every program developed for Evinrude E-Tec."
The campaign was developed by Milwaukee-based Cramer-Krasselt. The marketing program includes online advertising, an informercial and a new microsite.
