New Zealand-based Oceanmax has hired Chris Baird, former managing director of Fusion, as its new CEO and managing director. The company said in a statement that Oceanmax CEO Clint Jones will assume the role of president of international sales for the company. Jones will head the company’s international expansion efforts into the U.S. and European markets.

The company plans to open new offices in Europe and the U.S. to support international growth. Jones said his responsibilities will include global sales and support staff, channel development, and international expansion.

“We are embarking on a truly exciting growth path and we are thrilled to welcome Chris to the Oceanmax family,” said Jones in the statement. “A seasoned marine business leader, Chris will manage our company’s overall direction and growth, while I focus on developing the teams and strategies to increase our worldwide sales presence.”
