Select Manitou Encore models will get Fusion and Garmin systems factory-installed.

Garmin announced it will supply Fusion Entertainment audio systems for Manitou’s 2021 model year.

The pontoon builder offers Garmin ECHOMAPUHD 73sv and GPSMAPplotters across its entire lineup. For 2021, select models — including the Aurora LE, Oasis and Encore lines — will have factory-installed Fusion packages, with premium upgrades available on the Oasis and Encore.

“We are eager to expand our relationship with Garmin to include Fusion Entertainment for the 2021 model year,” James Heintz, BRP Marine Group director of project management, said in a statement.

A selling point for consumers will be Fusion-Link, which allows users to navigate music and source selections, volume and more using a smartphone. The system can also be controlled through Garmin MFDs.

“With Garmin marine electronics already aboard Manitou pontoons, the added convenience of Fusion-Link seamless audio integration is sure to bring an incomparable on-the-water experience that Manitou customers can trust for years to come,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin vice president of global consumer sales.
