Honda Marine recently received a MarCom Platinum Award for Honda Marine University, its computer-based dealer service training program.
The MarCom Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. Winners are selected from more than 200 categories in seven forms of media and communication efforts.
"Honda Marine University provides dealership staff with a timely education model that is available 365 days of the year and meets the challenges of the dealership education scheduling," said Paul Sabourin, Honda Marine's national manager for technical education, in a statement.
Honda Marine University was produced in conjunction with Irvine, Calif.-based Pacific Technology Solutions. More than 5,300 marine professionals have participated in the program since its inception in November 2007.
