Intellian, a leader in marine satellite antennas founded in 2004, recently shipped its 10,000th marine antenna system in the last five years.

The manufacturer entered the market as an OEM with a business agreement with Raymarine and a single television receive-only antenna. The company began marketing antennas under the Intellian brand name in early 2008

In 2009, Intellian entered the marine satellite communications market with the introduction of VSAT and Inmarsat antenna ranges, and now manufacturers a full line of 28 antenna models.

"It has been Intellian's mission from day one, to design and manufacturer antennas with the highest quality, reliability and performance for the marine market," said Eric Sung, company president, in a statement.

"Reaching 10,000 unit sales in a mere five years is a strong validation that we are achieving that mission," he added. "We are dedicated to continuing to develop innovative solutions, producing the best marine TV and communications antennas possible and further building trust in the Intellian name."
