South Korea-based JMP Corporation, maker of sea water pumps, strainers, and impellers, is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
Expanding into North America was key to JMP's growth, the company said.
"We attribute much of our success to embracing the challenge of change in the marketplace," JMP Corp. manager Chan Jeon in a statement. "It made us nimble and has allowed us to continually strive for excellence."
ISO 9001 certified, JMP manufactures electro-magnetic clutch, general multipurpose and engine cooling pumps, sea water strainers and flexible impellers.
Its parts and equipment are used by companies such as Kohler, Doosan, Mitsubishi and Hyundai Seasall, as well as private boaters worldwide.
The company has distributors in 20 countries across the world, with eight in North America alone.
