Underwater LED lighting systems manufacturer Lumishore said it promoted Chris Myers to its lead sales role in the United States and the Americas.

As national sales manager, Myers will direct all sales activity for the Americas, with a special emphasis on Lumishore's key partners and distributors. He will continue to be based at the company’s Sarasota, Fla., headquarters.

Myers previously worked at Galati Yacht Sales, Port Supply and Seakeeper. He joined Lumishore in 2015 to further develop and expand its network of representatives, dealers and OEM partners.

"Chris' wealth of knowledge, experience and technical expertise has been a significant asset to Lumishore over the past two years," Lumishore CEO Eifrion Evans said in a statement.

"It only makes sense to move him into the lead role, where his enthusiastic personality and passion for the marine industry will continue to drive Lumishore's growth and expand its presence in the U.S."
