Marine-product companies finalize merger

Innovative Product Solutions LLC and Jim Black & Associates are now operating together as HMG, or HiTide Manufacturing Group LLC.

The resulting product portfolio will include the Innovative Product Solutions doors, tubs, tackle centers, deck plates, and accessories coupled with similar products from Jim Black. Jim Black products will also add the ventilation and escape hatches, along with port lights, and other window products.

HiTide Marine Products is currently working on a line of products to be introduced to the market this spring.

“The merger gives our customers and stakeholders a chance to efficiently do business with one company in lieu of separate entities,” the company said in a statement. “Our goal is to continue to bring the high-quality, high-value products to the marketplace along with the service you expect.”

This process will not cause any interruption in business, as these companies have already co-existed in the same location since last April, according to HMG.
