Marine surveyor group names officers

The Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors recently elected new officers to serve during 2010.

George Gallup, of Lynn, Mass., was named president; Joseph Lobley, of Waldoboro, Maine, was named executive vice president and Stuart McLea, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, was named secretary/treasurer.

Also named as vice presidents were James Wood, of Morro Bay, Calif.; Lloyd Kittredge, of Chesterton, Ind.; Kenneth Weinbrecht, of Yaphank, N.Y.; Alison Mazon, of Portland, Ore.; and Thomas Benton, of Ketchum, Okla.
