Mercury shipping new OptiMax Pro XS outboard

Mercury Marine announced it has started shipping the new 150-hp OptiMax Pro XS engine to dealers and boatbuilders worldwide.

The new outboard offers the same performance characteristics and reliability as the 250 Pro XS, a popular engine on the tournament circuit, according to Mercury. Compared to the standard 150 OptiMax, the 150 Pro XS delivers 2.6 higher mph at top speed, according to the company.
