New app lets boaters reserve slips

GPDock is a mobile app that offers access to a database of marinas at any time to let a boater reserve a slip. Users can log on, check a marina’s availability for a desired day and choose and reserve a slip. They can also compare amenities and read reviews from other members.

GPDock can also be used as a mobile wallet to pay for fuel and other services at selected marinas. For owners of private docks, GPDock offers a solution for taking reservations and managing the rental process from a smart phone. The service currently has 175 partners in Abaco, Bimini, Eleuthera and Freeport in the Bahamas and throughout popular parts of Florida including Fort Lauderdale and Fort Myers.
