Peters & May names U.S. general manager

Boat transport company Peters & May appointed Noel Viera as general manager of its U.S. operations.

Peters & May USA has offices in Itasca, Ill., and Fort Lauderdale.

Viera joined Air and Ocean Shipping in April 2007, shortly before Peters & May acquired the company. Air and Ocean Shipping was renamed Peters & May USA in 2008 and Viera has remained a key member of the team through these changes.

Viera was “the natural choice,” group chief executive Dave Holley said in a statement.

Peters & May has a global network of offices and agents and will be opening two new offices in the remaining months of 2013.
