Pettit Marine Paint added Margo Hunt to its management team.

As marketing and sales support manager, she will be responsible for creating and coordinating all aspects of marketing in the United States for Pettit products.

Hunt has more than 30 years of experience in the marine industry. She began her career in the parts, service and warranty department at a Fort Lauderdale boat dealership as a teenager.

During the past three years — in her most recent post — Hunt provided sales and marketing expertise to factories that include Power Products, SeaStar, Lehr Outboards, Moeller, Taylor Made Products and Lumitec.

Prior to that she spent 13 years as director of operations in e-commerce, business management software design and system integrations with Brunswick Boat Parts and Accessories Group, MarineMax and Dockmaster.

Hunt hosted and directed “Spotlight on Boating,” a southeast Florida TV show. She has been a Darlene Briggs Marine Woman of the Year nominee and received an Award of Excellence in 1995.

“Pettit Paint is growing at an astronomical rate,” vice president of sales and marketing Don Zabransky said in a statement. “In retaining someone to assist in that expansion, I can think of no one more dedicated and qualified than Margo. We are truly fortunate to have her with us and we are looking forward to the work we will do together.”
