Satworx, a leading provider of satellite phone solutions, is providing a promotion for anglers and boaters who are often out of range of cell phone reception.

Through Dec. 31, any boat owner or captain who signs a premium plan contract will receive one of three free Sailor FleetBroadband satellite phones, valued between $5,000 and $15,000.

"Staying in touch with business and personal contacts is just as important at sea as it is at home," marketing director Sean McCready said in a statement. "The Satworx FleetBroadband solutions are the first to provide truly cost-effective satellite solutions on any vessel."

The company's FleetBroadband offers both data and voice in a single terminal that also provides real-time weather updates and uninterrupted e-mail and Internet. Premiums plans are billed on a monthly basis and include voice minutes for calls.
