Shakespeare Marine Electronics adds business manager

Bill Eastwood was appointed business manager for the Shakespeare Marine Electronics product line of Jarden Applied Materials, a business unit of Newell Brands.

Bill Eastwood was appointed business manager for the Shakespeare Marine Electronics product line of Jarden Applied Materials, a business unit of Newell Brands.

Eastwood will be responsible for the global sales and marketing of Shakespeare antennas and accessories, as well as building on its well-known brand to increase market share. He also will oversee the continued development of connectivity technology advancements, such as Wi-Fi extenders and cellular amplifiers.

Eastwood comes to Shakespeare with more than three decades of experience in marine electronics. He was the marine products sales manager at McMurdo Group and held similar roles at OceanLED and Navionics.

"In Bill, we've selected a strong leader with a stellar, trusted reputation in the industry," Jarden Applied Materials president Brian Searfoss said in a statement. "He's uniquely qualified to position our products to a broad audience, expand global sales and strategically lead Shakespeare Marine Electronics into the future."

Based in Columbia, S.C., Shakespeare offers high-performance antennas for navigation, communication and entertainment for recreational, commercial and military markets.
