Skarne Marine landed a contract to supply a patrol boat to Santa Barbara Security Services N.V. of Curacao, in the Netherlands Antilles.

The company is charged with maintaining security on and around the resort development of Santa Barbara Plantation.

Santa Barbara Security Services chose the Minor Offshore 25 with a Volvo Penta D4-225. This setup will allow the staff to patrol the area economically during all hours of the day.

"We are very pleased and proud to have been awarded this contract," said Carl Skarne, owner of Milford, Conn.-based Skarne Marine LLC, the exclusive importer of Minor Offshore boats to the United States and North America. "We were up against some formidable competition and this just confirms the tremendous versatility and quality of these boats."
