SmartPlug Systems registers trademarks

SmartPlug Systems recently trademarked its name and logo, the company announced.

“Trademarking our company name and logo shows how serious we are about transforming the current shore power systems,” company founder Ken Smith said in a statement. “Electricity and water are a combination that traditional plugs and outlets don't really protect against. While SmartPlug is still relatively new to the market, it provides many safety features that help reduce the two leading causes of boat fires — loose connections and corrosion.”

The company designs and makes electrical connectors, cordsets, inlets and adapters for a variety of applications.
