SNAME magazine named finalist for awards

Marine Technology, the membership magazine of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, was listed as a finalist for two 2014 Folio: Eddie and Ozzie Awards, celebrating excellence in magazine editorial and design.

(MT), as the publication is also called, is an Eddie finalist in the Association/Non-profit Single Article, less than six issues category and a Ozzie finalist for Association/Non-profit Feature Design, less than six issues.

The award winners will be announced Dec. 11 at the Yale Club in New York.

Published quarterly, the magazine features cutting-edge technical articles on topics of interest across all marine disciplines. Included are vessel reports, in-depth features, historical notes, public policy briefings, profiles of SNAME founders and leaders, abstracts of highlighted technical papers and reviews of maritime books and media.
