Suzuki Marine and Forest River have entered a partnership making the Japan-based manufacturer the exclusive outboard provider for Forest River’s new line of Nepallo Pontoon boats.
Nepallo pontoons will be sold exclusively at select Camping World and Gander RV & Outdoors locations.
The Nepallo pontoon line includes models from 18 to 24 feet, each with a 10-foot Bimini top and padded marine seating. Initial Suzuki outboard model offerings will run from 40- to 140-hp.
“We are thrilled about this partnership with Forest River and Camping World, together we are going to accomplish great things,” George “Gus” Blakely, executive vice president for Suzuki Marine said in a statement. “At a time when U.S. participation in boating and outdoor recreation continues to grow, we will be providing a top-quality, feature-packed alternative to pontoon boat packages offered through other national outdoor retailers.”
Blakely added that Suzuki’s recent success working with Forest River — including record sales growth — helped arrange the collaboration between Suzuki Marine, Forest River and Camping World.
In other news from Suzuki, the company announced a new 5-year limited warranty on its new outboard motors; the company’s previous standard limited warranty was three years.
The new warranty applies to all motors purchased for pleasure use and warranty registered on or after April 1 this year. Motors must be purchased new from an authorized Suzuki Marine dealer in the continental U.S., Alaska or the Bahamas.
