Torqeedo announces personnel moves

"Over the past 12 years Torqeedo has grown from an idea in a boathouse to an international company with a presence in over 50 countries on five continents. With the groundwork we've laid, we continue to experience rapid growth here in North America," Torqeedo president and general manager Steve Trkla said in a statement.

Shafar is responsible for managing and growing Torqeedo's North American OEM, retail and distribution business. The company said he spent 14 years in national advertising sales, managed more than $8 million in business and consistently exceeded sales goals before joining Torqeedo.

Sinnott is tasked with strengthening and supporting Torqeedo’s dealer network. The company said he has more than 20 years of experience and previously managed a sales force of more than 150 in the wireless industry.
