Torqeedo expands manufacturing plant in Illinois

Torqeedo, the U.S. subsidiary of Germany-based Torqeedo GmbH, expanded into a larger plant to meet increasing demands.

Previously housed in a 2,800-square-foot building in Hawthorn Woods, Ill., the electric outboard manufacturer now inhabits a 4,000-square-foot building. 

The new address is 171 Erick Street, Unit 1A, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. The company's new phone number is (815) 444-8806 and the new fax number is (815) 444-8807. All e-mail addresses remain the same.

"Our unique, high-quality products are the key to our success," said Steve Trkla, Torqeedo president, in a statement. "The positive response and demand for our environmentally friendly line of outboards is what has enabled us to grow as a company."
