Trim tab maker picks marketing firm

Rhodes Communications was selected to provide PR and marketing services for Linear Devices Corp., a Richmond, Va.-based manufacturer of trim tabs for powerboats under the Lectrotab brand.

"We chose Rhodes Communications because of its strong experience in our industry," said Dan Roberts, president of Linear Devices. "Until now, we have focused our primary attention on engineering and product development. Moving forward, we intend to put increasing emphasis on marketing and sales to build our customer base and distribution channels worldwide."

Linear Devices was founded in 1997 to develop a line of electromechanical trim tabs that would overcome the numerous problems of hydraulic-based and other electromechanical systems.
