Warren Kelly of Vernon Promotions and Gene Allen of Roche Marine, created BoatShowsatHome.com, a site designed to give buyers and dealers the look and feel of a year-round boat show.

The site will launch in early 2010.

"The graphics and the navigation throughout the site, as well as the steps involved in the boat-buying process, have all been taken into consideration in the development of the site," Kelly said in a statement.

A soft launch of the site can be viewed here. Plans for the site include features like allowing buyers to make direct deals to boaters, promotions of established boat shows, discount tickets for "real" shows and area events and hotels, and marine weather and fishing reports.

The Win-Tron 2009 Virtual Dealer Show runs Nov. 17-23.

The fifth annual show will be held at the company's Web site.

"For 17 years, Win-Tron hosted an annual physical dealer show at a hotel near our New Jersey headquarters, and in a really good year we were able to attract 300 dealers from five surrounding states," said Eddie Winder, president of Win-Tron Electronics, in a statement. "Last year, our online show was visited by over 500 dealers from across the U.S. and 11 other countries, and we expect our best attendance ever this year."

The seven-day, around-the-clock show will offer dealers special product pricing and terms, shipping discounts, cash-back incentives and $30,000 in product giveaways from major electronics companies.
